I saw The Iron Giant at least 50 times

Had the Angry Birds pattern memorized

And I’ve seen the stuff they put inside

Stuffed animals

 

I was Lady Gaga back in my back yard

Had a bed covered in stuff animals

And a couple of Evil Knievil bruises

On my legs

Well, I was a kid when Micheal Jackson died

And my grandma cried

 

It is 2000 something

In the world that I grow up in

Justin Bieber hairdo days

Skinny jeans and iPods

 

It was the dawning of a new decade

When we got our first Xbox 360 Kinect

And Dad broke down and finally shaved

His mustache off

 

I made a lot of chess earthquakes

Watched Syfy all afternoon

My first love was Alexander Ludwig

In the Hunger Games

Twin towers fell to the ground

And the whole world cried

 

It is 2000 something

In the world that I grow up in

Malls and Motorcycles

Lookin’ back now, I can see me

And oh, man, did I look cheesy

But I wont trade these days for nothin’

Now I got chores and a Dodge Viper

But all these responsibilities

Make me wish sometimes

2000 something, aw, it is 20 something

Why oh why

do people fight

all it does is hurt others

some people say

it makes them look cool when they

say mean things to others

but they’re wrong

I see those people

who are mean and cruel

as people who are looking for attention

that they don’t receive

as people who have nothing better to do

they see themselves as winners

always in first place

but to me they are the biggest losers

who always come in last

they say they are “popular”

and “perfect”

but to me they have no friends

the only friends they have is themselves

and the people that hang out with them

are just as bad as them

in fact they’re just a club of

gossip, rumors, and drama

and no person who treats another person

like they are nothing

could ever be perfect

I’m a victim of these people

I hung out with them before

I started to change

I even made someone cry

when I saw her face as she was crying

I thought to myself

“What have I done?”

from that day on I stand up for those

who are in need of help

for they have feelings too

since I left the “popular” people

I’ve been picked on

Even though I hate being picked on

I stand my ground

I help others and that’s the reward

No trophy or ribbon can beat

the satisfaction of helping

someone in need of help

and in return they help me

people are delicate creatures

who are in need of tender care

and not others saying mean and hurtful things

we need to keep our self esteem high

and not listen to those who are cruel

we are beautiful no matter what they say

and words can’t bring us down

someone loves each and everyone of us

so don’t worry about the people who act

like they don’t care about us

it will be okay no matter what happens.

Life can be a pain

Life can be a blessing

Life can be tough

Life can be easy

Life is just one boundary

that we will have to face

sometimes we feel as if

we can no longer go on

but we just have to deal with it

weather your having

boy trouble or friend trouble

parent trouble and divorce

 arguments and bullying

deaths of family, friends or pets

this is all very hard to live with

I’ve been through this all

So if you feel as if you can’t take it

just remember this

I put up with this so you can to

don’t give up

wake up in the morning with a smile

and say, “Today is going to be a great day”

face every second as if it’s your last

you only get one shot at life

so treat life well

have fun and be careful.

The book I’m reading is Fallen by Lauren Kate.

The main character in Fallen is Luce Price. She has short black hair and hazel eyes. People say she has really nice hair. Luce is a vegetarian. She is in Sword & Cross boarding school because she was accused of being involved in a friends death who she loved a lot. She is already ready to leave Sword & Cross after the first forty-five minutes of being there because she’s not alowed to use her car or cell phone which she misses a lot. Luce sometimes flirts with two guys named Cam and Daniel but she doesn’t really know that she’s flirting until her friend Arriane tells her she is.

The setting of this book is in Stone & Cross boarding school. It’s a dull and colorless place with bars on all the windows to keep you inside. There’s a chain link fence with barb wire on the top to keep you from leaving the premises. The setting is around present time because there are cars like we use today, cell phones, and internet.

Luce is sent to Stone & Cross boarding school after being accused of being involved in a close friends death. She is having problems with a girl named Molly who smeared meatloaf in her hair, pushed her to the ground, and then stomped on her foot with steel toed boots. Now Luce is scared of Molly and wants to stay away from her. So when she passes Molly’s door her heart starts pounding and she hopes Molly won’t come out while she’s sneaking passed her room.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is coming out in theaters March 23rd at 12:00 A.M.!

I loved the book and I think everyone should read this series. The series contains The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and the best one of all would be Mockingjay.

The main character is Katniss Everdeen. Her sisters name is Prim. Katniss’s best friend’s name is Gale.  The guy who goes with her to the Hunger Games is Peeta Mellark (Peeta is a baker). Cinna is the clothes designer. Haymitch is the tutor of Katniss and Peeta. (These are just a few of the characters.)

These books contain a lot of  bloody battles. They have some parts that will make you laugh. But they also have parts that will make you feel like crying. This is the best book series ever so I can’t wait until the movie comes out!

This summer me, my mom, and my brother are moving. I’m pretty sure we’re moving up towards Nelsonville. I’m glad I’m moving because I get to get away from my dad and start all over again and I get to live with my grandma and my aunt. But then again I’m sad I have to move because that means leaving my best friend and my crush behind.

Up in Nelsonville they have the train that you can go ride for the 4th of July so that would be fun. They also have the Fun Barn movie theater which I’ve been to once and it was a lot of fun. I guess moving wont be to bad since I will be close to these things so I’ll be able to do them more often.

Now my grandpa wants us to move up with him but he lives up towards Columbus so then we wont be close to my grandma and my aunt. Up towards my grandpa there is a lot of family but up with my grandma there is no family.

My grandma has no one since my aunt is never home anymore so that’s why we want to move up there. I also want to live up towards my grandpa because a lot of my family lives up there.

I’m nervous because I don’t know where I want to move to!

If I were to pick three things that I think would be a wonder of the world one of them would be cell phones. I would choose cell phones because a lot of people have them. In fact around 2.5 billion texts are sent a day in the U.S.A. In the U.S.A. 250 million people have cell phones. I can’t wait until I get my cell phone back in a month or two because I love texting my friends and family!

Another wonder I would pick would be the Internet. I would pick the Internet because you can find out a lot of information and even send emails to friends and family. There are about 183 billion emails sent in one day in the U.S.A. Facebook is a popular Internet site where you can chat with people. Facebook has 600 million-plus user base this year. I wish I could have a Facebook account!

My last wonder would be television. I would pick television because it helps entertain me and my family when it is rainy or cold outside. I bet almost every single person in the U.S.A. has a T.V. With out T.V. life would be very boring. I love watching T.V. because it is so much fun!

She frolicked

and pranced

in the field of daisies

She was jumping with joy

and zoomed away

I heard her scream

 with pain and hatred

I ran toward the frightful sound

I saw her fighting for her life

she fought the demand

with all her strength

the frightful demand

pulled my little girl

into a pond of blood

there was nothing I could do

but watch and cry

the demand bit her

and slashed her face

she was a goner

for sure I thought

But then an angel

 fell from the sky

I couldn’t believe

what was happening

the guardian angel

fought the demand away

she saved my little girl

and healed her wounds

then disappeared in midair

I thought it was all a dream

and jumped in the pond

I grabbed my little girl

and brought her home

and checked for wounds

not one scratch

not one bruise

I pinched myself

to see if it was all real

and sure enough

it all had happened

so if you don’t believe

in guardian angels

then you must not have

seen one like I have

so let me just tell you

angels are real.

My past is full of memories. My past has few happy memories and a lot of sad memories. I try not to look back into my past memories. I need to forget the past because this is not the past. This is the present. I need to focus on the future. The present isn’t all that great either. At home my parents fight a lot. At school I have problems with people making fun of me and calling me stuff. I want a bright and happy future. I want to go to college and be an animal cop or a counselor. I want to be a mother and have a little girl. I hope the future brings more happiness into my life then the past and present have brought to me.
